Currently in Beta phase; we will be introducing a new way for practices to manage their invoicing through the Hero booking service that opens up the powerful features of Stripe invoicing and payments.
Hero invoices will be entirely managed in Stripe, unlocking features such as discount codes, part payments, subscriptions and more. With our new Stripe integration you will have the global standard for invoicing and payments with complete control over your invoicing data and the ability to export the information you need with ease. Billpayers and organisation will longer be managed in Hero. Billpayers are stored in Stripe as Customers and have an association to a patient in Hero. Users will be able to search these customer when raising an invoice in Hero
Chargeable items will no longer be managed in Hero. These are stored in Stripe as Products and can have one or many prices associated to them.
Appointments can be linked to an invoice in order to associate a payment collection to a booking retrospectively.
Access Stripe invoices from the patient dashboard and individual appointments and the Hero diary. Users can copy payment links to send to patients as well as pay for the invoice using cards saved on the customer file or via external methods (e.g Bank transfer, Stripe terminals, cheques).
Memberships are now viewed and managed via ‘Subscriptions’ under Apps in the navigation sidebar.
Enhance your scheduling capabilities with our redesigned Private Booking Service. Now with the option to authenticate with both email and mobile, this gives patients the flexibility to book their appointments with ease using the ‘fast checkout’ option. Now integrated with Stripe checkout; patients can be given the flexibility to pay with various different payment methods to provide flexibility.
When allowing online booking for patients, a Stripe product will need to be associated to an appointment in order to set a price for that appointment and will automatically link the appointment to a Stripe invoice.
Patients will be able to pay via Stripe checkout providing world class secure payments.
Practices can customise payment methods to accept third party providers such as Klarna, Bass direct debit and more).
Practices will be able to theme the new patient booking flow to better match your practice branding specifically catered to their practice.
With our latest update, the ability for patients to book appointments on behalf of others has been upgraded. Our new proxy booking feature allows users to act as proxies by providing minimal demographic information and identifying the patient for whom they are booking. This makes it easy to manage bookings for dependents, family members, or individuals under care. Proxy bookings are designed to integrate smoothly with Stripe, facilitating a secure and straightforward payment process for bookings made via proxy.
