In this release, we’ve introduced several enhancements to optimise your Care Navigation experience and keep your team on track. From integrated appointment booking links to daily request limits to pathway reordering, these improvements make it easier to manage patient submissions and workload. Patients now receive confirmation emails for their care requests, and temporarily unavailable services appear as disabled rather than hidden. Additionally, new inbox filters and task status options help teams coordinate effectively, while bug fixes ensure external URLs and empty forms work smoothly.
Integrated online booking into care navigation - Users can create service specific booking links directly within the care navigation pathway setup or embed existing (pre-built) links for a unified online patient experience.
Daily limits on request types - Enable daily submission limits on care navigation requests to help manage workload effectively. Once the daily limit is reached, the request type becomes inactive until the following day.
Service availability visibility - Temporarily inactive services, for example in hours request, now appear disabled (instead of hidden), so patients are aware the service is offered but currently unavailable.
Submission confirmation email - Patients and proxies now receive email confirmations when they complete online care navigation requests.
Re-order care navigation pathways - Users can now reorder pathways and request to help patient navigation to the most appropriate services, by allowing users to define the visual hierarchy of the care navigation portal.
Automated submission assignment - Configure the automated assignments of individual request types, to optimise practice workflow by ensuring the team or users is notified of a submission.
Inbox filter includes team assignments - The inbox will now automatically filter to display tasks assigned to a user or a team they are apart of, making it easier to stay organised and track submission.
In progress status for tasks - Update tasks to an “In Progress” status to help other team members see what’s being worked on and prevents duplicated efforts.
Fixed an issue where ampersands in external Care Navigation URLs were converted to &, breaking links on the patient side.
Fixed an issue where request templates with no questions could be added to a pathway, causing the patient portal to crash.
