This new detailed invoice can be used to send information needed to send to insurers. All information is stored and populated from Stripe. This invoice allows you to continue to update with relevant information after the invoice is finalised which creates better flexibility with the different ways in which our practices run their payment processes:
Invoices will feature practice group details such as name, address, and email.
Stripe customer information includes the customer's name, address, and email. Additionally, service details like service date, practitioner, appointment, and diagnosis are displayed.
Billing details incorporate insurer information, authorisation code, membership number, and registered practitioner details, with logical display conditions. Patient information will cover their name, date of birth, and address.
The invoice will also pull any necessary information to replicate the items found in the Stripe invoice, ensuring a thorough and clear representation of all invoiced products and services.
Enhanced payment options when taking terminal card payments or marking invoices as externally paid from the invoice builder. Previously, users had to select the invoice after saving it as a draft or raising it and choose 'Pay now,' leading to a cumbersome experience. Key improvements include clearer labeling of payment collection choices, more prominent calls to action based on the payment collection method, the option to navigate to the payment page directly from the invoice builder, and automatically raising invoices as open when taken to the payment page.
Users can add or edit diagnoses directly on invoices, enabling patients to claim invoice values against their insurance seamlessly. This is now stored in Stripe as metadata to enable updates to the invoice information after the invoice is finalised.
This feature enables users to provide necessary insurance information, allowing patients to submit their invoices to their insurance providers for reimbursement. Key functionalities include the ability to define insurance details (Insurance provider, authentication code, membership number) when the invoice status is draft, open, or paid. Furthermore, any updates made to the insurance details will be reflected in the Stripe invoice metadata fields and memo, ensuring seamless integration and accurate records.
You can now define the practitioner who provided the service and the date the service was rendered. This information is stored in Stripe, making it easier to track service details. Users can specify the practitioner and service date for non-appointment linked invoices during the invoice creation or editing process. For appointment-linked invoices, this information is populated automatically and fields are disabled with an alert for user awareness. Updated metadata is also reflected in Stripe upon invoice save. If creating an invoice as an admin, the linked practitioner is preselected with the option to change. This ensures accurate and convenient metadata handling within the invoicing system.
This feature reintroduces a clear visual cue to quickly identify pending payments, streamlining the financial tracking process and enhancing overall workflow efficiency.
Redesign diary sidebar and include questionnaires. After working with clinicians and admin staff we have updated the diary sidebar to give the patient more prominence and more detail. Click on the patient card to reveal patient information.
Search stripe product by term. When raising an invoice, searching for products in the invoice builder will now return matches from both the product name and product code, ensuring more accurate and efficient product differentiation. Setup your product codes in Stripe by assigning a ‘Code’ key in your product metadata.
Add patient quick action on the homepage. This addition enables users to swiftly add patients directly from the homepage.
Reintroduced organisations onto the navigation sidebar
