Is there a way we can use a test patient to check what the patient will see?

Overview

When submitting care navigation requests, you must use NHS login or demographics to authenticate. These details are then checked against PDS (the Spine). To properly test the flow with a test patient, you will need to contact NHS Digital.

Requesting a Dummy Patient

To obtain a test patient, you need to apply for a dummy patient through NHS Digital. Follow these steps:

  1. Email NHS Digital: Send a request to [email protected] specifying your need for a test patient linked to the Spine.

  2. Provide Relevant Details: Include information about your system, the purpose of the test, and any other requirements specified by NHS Digital.

  3. Wait for Approval: NHS Digital will review your request and provide you with a test patient if approved.
